The Data Management Association (DAMA) hosted CONNECT’s CEO, Maureen Clarry, who presented “Great Minds Think Differently.” DAMA members learned about their thinking styles and how to appreciate opposite thinkers. Maureen Clarry illuminated pathways to the logic and creativity of opposite thinkers and removing barriers to engaging and influencing them.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Central Iowa Chapter hosts CONNECT in Des Moines

PMI hosted CONNECT in June to teach their highly-acclaimed Power, Politics, & Partnership in Strategic Workshop to PMI members in Des Moines. This dynamic, invigorating, and enlightening one-and-a-half day workshop provided insight and strategies on how to create cross-functional collaboration between executives, steering committees, customers, functional managers, program managers, project managers, and project teams. Instructors, Maureen Clarry and Lorna Rickard, taught hands-on exercises, in-class coaching, and peer discussion to reinforce participants’ learning.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Mile Hi Chapter, Inc., hosted CONNECT to teach Power, Politics, & Partnership in Strategic Projects. This workshop is a two-day experiential learning opportunity that explores the roles that individuals play within the organizational “system” by illuminating new possibilities for creating partnership. The Power, Politics, & Partnership workshop is particularly helpful during turbulent times, when “business as usual” doesn’t work anymore. Participants experience first-hand what life is like in other parts of the organizational system so everyone can experience, appreciate, and understand one another’s worlds.
